Hi guys

I have several (about 100) text files with coordinates, each set of coordinates will make an aerofoil. I can import these individually and make a curve simply using the curve through xyz feature and i can import all the points using a macro i found to make a cloud of points. But this isn't quite what i want and i'm gunna have a few lots of these so i could do with either the macro for curve through xyz which i can create a loop for or a better way to do this.

Bear in mind that the code found here https://forum.solidworks.com/thread/37969 is the one that makes a cloud of points but again its not exactly what I need. Also when i try and record a macro for curve through xyz it doesnt use a file name it instead extracts all the points and buts them into the macro instead so I cant get it that way.

Anyways if anyone has any idea that would be fantastic! or another way to do it would be great. For reference these are a bunch of aerofoils that will make up a propeller so for each propeller design I have like 100 aerofoils each consisting of 500 coordinates, hence its not practical to individually make each curve.

Thanks!

Chris
