Hi All,
I am building a Desktop with 32GB RAM. Will there be any noticeable difference between DDR4 2600 vs DDR4 2300 RAM? I will be doing SolidWorks Simulation and Rendering work.

LS

I agree with Andrei Popov, you wouldn't see much difference between those two speeds of the same type of RAM. Disabling hyper-threading gives the most 'bang-for-the-buck' but also consider having a SSHD that you will write data to during the solve. That can seriously speed up your solve times.

Just disable hyper-threading of the CPU, otherwise there is no difference in simulation.
