I have SolidWorks version 2014 SP 2.0 ,I have received some drawings in file type EDRW and I want to open them with SolidWorks and convert them to .dxf or .dwg can this be done?

Sorry you can only open them with eDrawings. You can printing them as PDF from eDrawings and then try converting those PDFs into DWG/DXF.
You can't open up eDrw files in Solidworks. Are you able to get the sender of the eDrw to send it in a different format? You will probably be able to use a file converter software to change it to dwg/dxf but I am not sure if it is foolproof.
