Hello all. Attached is a file I have been working on. I am trying to combine surfaces and make them a solid object. When I go to the knit command and proceed with the operation I check the box's that say merge and make a solid. The operation completes just fine. But when I try and do a cross section check it still shows the body as being hollow. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help.

you are missing a few surface faces that stop it being a solid. I have done a surface fill on these just to allow it to form a solid. I have attached the file for you to peruse.

The reason the solid is not created is not being created is because there are still holes in the surfaces. I reccomend that you delete the last two knit features.
Then select the Surface-Trim13[1], Surface-Trim13[2], Surface-Trim15, and Surface-Trim16, and knit these surfaces together. You will not b able to create a solid at this time because of the gap here. The gap is shown with a blue outline. Select the two edges and use the Filled surface command. Select the option to merge and try and form solid.
