Is it Possible to import Only section view created in Part using section annotation view? It says it needs a parent view. Is there any other possible ways?
Thanks in Advance.
You can leave the parent view on the same sheet, just hide it (RMB on parent view, hide. may have to extend RMB view fully to get the hide command to show). Then tell it 'no' when SW asks to hide dependant views also.
Broken out section view in the drawing
You can drag the Parent View off of the sheet, it will not print.
Yes Daraz, I have been doing that only creating a new sheet and placed the section view in new sheet. Is this the only way?
That is not the only way, the other way is to do like Deepak said and simply do a broken out section. Then you don't need another view at all.
Once you create the section view in the part you must hit the space bar to save the section view.
Then name the view and save.
The saved view can now be inserted into a drawing.
Feroz, Thanks but this only gives you the view orientation not the exact section view.
There is an Option in „Section View“ = Drawing Annotation View
Andreas, We know this but you need that parent view to create section view. You can't be able to create Section view alone.
Mabye you can create a configuration with a "Surface cut" in the part and use this in the drawing? But then you have to craeate the hatch manually in the drawing.
