Does anybody know why my bend might be fused with other bend without me going all the way back through this tutorial and starting over?
I just did that tutorial recently. It might have something to do with Miter Flange1. I will attach my file so you can compare.
I think Erik is correct.
Try edit your miter flange and change the "Flange Position"
I still can't see any difference. The gap distance was different, and I changed that, but flange position is the same. I attached the part this time.

Ingvar, I see you selected Bend Outside, but Erik and I chose Material Outside per the tutorial. Is there something else you changed in my part? My part does unfold now with Bend Outside, but Erik's does too with Material Outside.
I did not change anything else. I have not looked at the tutorial.
Andrew,, The issue you are having is your Cut-Extrude2 is not normal. Check the Normal Cut and that will take care of the problem. The second issue you have is you made this part in inches. Should be mm.

Thanks Dennis that was it. I've never seen that check box before I started the sheet metal tutorial. It's not in the regular Extruded Cut. It would have been nice for SW to have mentioned it. Does it make a difference what unit I'm in? I didn't think it did for tutorials.
Probably not Andrew, the result is the same (one unit is one unit). But in the future I would keep the units in mind. Doing what you did would flunk you in a job app or certification exam. Please keep that in mind. Attention to detail is soooo very important in our business.
