When using the delete face command, is there a way to stop this dialog box from coming up?
This box is just in the way, especially when you have a lot of surfaces to patch.
Thank you for your help.
I'm at the point now where, I'm just going to work my way through the models.
No other option.
It´s called "Select Connect Faces" pop-up toolbar. I don´t think you can switch it off. But you could e.g. select the faces you want by holding down the ctrl key while you are at it, before you activate the "delete face" command. Or move the cursor away when the toolbar is in your way
Holding down the ctrl key for 70 or more faces, is not really an option in this case.
I've been moving the Tool Bar out of the way... its a distracting and a pain in the...
Its like this, I pick one surface and when I go to pick the next surface the Tool Bar is in the way.
I did look for some option to turn it off.
Ingvar, thank you for your help!
I don´t exactly know what you are trying to do. Only trying to help you.
Another possibility would be to box select many faces, or maybe try out the toolbar for making the selections quicker.
Right-click at the top of your monitor to get the list of Toolbars, and select "Customize" at the bottom. Un-check this box. I don't know for sure that it will work, but it's worth a shot.
Glenn, tried this also myself before posting. I could not get it to work, It just looks like it is not affecting this toolbar.
Removing a lot gussets for a lot of parts. so, I can unfold into flat patterns. (strip layout for quoting)
I've ran into this before, just have to work through it.
Or maybe I´m misunderstanding what you are doing. Can you upload on part or let us show one image, maybe there is a better approach for your work then delete faces.
