Enter equations in smart dimension

How do I enter a new equation in smart dimension?

I was using SolidWorks 2012 and I started a new sketch, added a rectangle, selected "Smart Dimension" and clicked on a line of the rectangle and then entered an equation, for example "=30/45".

Now I have started to use SolidWorks 2014 and when I enter the equation in "Smart Dimension" nothing happens when I click <Enter>-key or the green icon. Is this a bug or a feature? And if it's a feature, why?

If I enter "32" it works fine. But if enter "=32" nothing happens. No error message. Nothing.

I build model trains and most my dimensions is scaled down, so I almost always enter dimensions like =300/45. And it would be very hard to work with SolidWorks if I have to create every equation before using it in SmartDimension.

Kind regards,
