Is there anyways to create a "favourites" shortcut in your explorer for a location within the vault?
See the short video attached.
You should be dragging the folder into the Favorites folder whilst holding down the right mouse button it will show the no entry sign release the right mouse button and you should see the Create short cut here dialog
Right click on the favourites and open in new window create short-cuts to the folders in the vault this will add them to the list
Yes,I have obviously(dont mean to sound cocky)tried this and yes, it is the general way this should work although it doesnt create a favourite for anything within your vualt.
You can make your vault a favourite but it seems you may not delve in to the realms of your vaults.
Maybe a compatibility issue with the plugin?
Have both the vault and the favorite open in separate windows (side by side) on the folder in the vault you want to be a favorite right mouse click and drag into the favorites folder you should then be offered the option to create a shortcut.
This really doesnt work for me :/
It has the no entry sign when I try to drag and drop .
When I right click and try add current locations to favourites it does nothing.
help me I waste so much time
YOU SIR HAVE MADE MY DAY
Thanks alot ,Ron !!
This has been a PITA for us here as well. Sometimes it works. Other times it does not. I'm sure it's tied somehow to the user profile and/or group policy.
What works on EVERYONE's system is to put the shortcut in the LINKS folder.
