I have an assembly and I want to switch from the material textures to the paint that will be applied to the components inside. I can generate the display states for the components without too much trouble, but I wasn't able to activate those display states in the assembly. I was wondering is it possible to assign a display state to a display state through the API. It can be done by hand through the solidworks interface (the component properties allow it), but I can't seem to find the way to do it in the api. Is there a way to do it without resorting to creating configurations?
