We have an existing server that runs Xen 4.4.1 (not XenServer). For many reason, I had to go use Ubuntu Xen setup.

I'm trying to transfer a license for SolidWorks to a virtual machine running windows 7 64bits, but I get a message that I cannot activate the license in this environment.

I was wondering if there is a way to test the installation anyway, given that ZenServer is supported and I'm running the same hypervisor?

I understand that it is not going to be supported but I'm willing to take the risk.

This setup will help our lab to consolidate services and save time on management.
