Anyone know what the material is most commonly used for chip clips? Thanks in advanced.
I had a few but can't find them to have a look. I'd say polycarbonate. If you have some, look for some letters, like PP, PC, PS, etc... that may stand alone or be within the triangular shaped recycling logo. If you see letters like this, it'll tell you what the material is.
I see nothing but CHINA on mine. lol
I would guess ABS, because it's cheap and fairly durable.
Most likely polystyrene (PS or HIPS), but as Jamil said above, it could also be ABS. ABS would be preferred because of the increased durability and because costs are so similar with PS right now.
