I'm getting multiple messages that I'm missing dll files as I mentioned one in the subject line. I have SW 15/16, student edition.
Will appreciate if someone can help me to get this problem fixed.
We are trying to install this across our department and two computers are having this issue. The version is Solidworks 2015 SP4.0 and it was installed from an administrative image. This is not a student version. The computers that have this issue previously had Solidworks 2010 on them if that matters (removed with Total Uninstall).
We had similar issues here and discovered it was our antivirus causing the problems. We created file exceptions and all is good now.
I had this same problem with Pack N Go .dll files and also GdtAnalysisSupport.dll It has something to do with a July 15 Microsoft Update KB3072630 and how it messed up something up in the installer. Everyone installing after July 15 are having similar troubles. I was able to fix mine with a simple registry edit and an Solidworks Installation Repair option.
Here is a link to the registry edit..
Thank you for your help John. I was able to fix this issue with these information. The link provides step by step method to repair Solidworks, plus the prewritten regedit files for those like me who are less confident to modify these kind of settings.
Have a good day.
I tried this but the problem continues, I have sw15 sp-0 windows 10 OS ,is there any alternate
