I just discovered something trying to do a clean uninstall
and reinstall of SW due to some toolbar corruption. If you dont
transfer your license to SW before the uninstall, you will not be
able to delete SW from the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
RegEdit told me it couldnt delete the key. It was not a permission
idssue either as I tried under Admin, and tried changing
permissions. SW says you only need to transfer licenses when
upgrading hardware or installing on a new computer. I think they
need to change that warning to include doing a clean uninstall. Or
they could just delte the key, I mean after all, I did chose to
uninstall.
