My company purchased SW2006 Office Premium which, through thesubscription service, was eventually upgraded through service packsto SW2007. Recently I received a new computer and reinstalledSW2006. Now I am unable to upgrade to SW2007 through the servicepacks even though my customer profile shows I have a registrationnumber for SW2007. I'm obviously missing something here - what isit?

Try installing SW2007 from the SW2007 DVD / CD's? You can't patch 2006 up to 2007 with service packs...

  What Martin said. Service packs are strictly for repairing that particular version of the software, not to upgrade to the latest and greatest version. If you have discs for '06, you should have them for '07 as well.

What service pack are you installing, if you were on SP4.0, and you did not release/transfer the license from that machine you will need to either do that or contact your VAR to release the license so you can activate the license, this may not be your issue, but just a thought
