Volume as quantity

We have multiple configurations of an assembly with all being shown on a BOM. A common part to each is adhesive, but the volume is different in each configuration. There is an acutal part in the assembly as the adhesive with a configuration modeled for each correct volume.

We would like to get this volume as a quantity in the BOM for each configuration of the assembly.

Take a look at the 2008 beta. Otherwise, it can't easily be done in 2007. Our current practice is to override the quantity cell for the part in the bill of materials.

    Here is how we do it with configuration specific file properties and a custom BOM file.
    It really isn't difficult once you get yourself set-up. See the attached files for required file properties & BOM requirements.
