I am practicing for the cswp exam, and when I go to change my equations, they dont update the part and rebuild. I have checked the automaticly rebuild box but they still don't change in the model, as shown by the same mass properties.

yes I am. Even after I update the equations and bring them up to make sure they have updated, I click on the part and the original values are still shown as the dimensions. the part is not updating with the new equations. yes, i click rebuild. yes, i force rebuild (ctrl+q).
Forget the rebuild - you need to close and re-open "Mass Properties"
I have done that
After the Re-build - if the answer is yes - send the part to your VAR -
you are not helping
The only thing most of us can do is give suggestions - If you want better results to your questions then upload your part so we can test it - Most of us are just SW users not technicians, I did give you a few suggestions to check out and if it's more then that then send the part to someone that can help...............

I had mistaken you for another Kenneth, couldn't figure out your comment but...... - I see now you're just a new kid on the block - Even so upload your part - unless you figured it your yourself ...

Also have you linked your dimensions to the equations? If not then nothing would update since dimension didn't got changed.
Make sure the Automatically rebuild check box is checked on the equations manager.
Are you reading the mass properties for your updates???
If you are you would need to close and re-open the Mass Property icon - then it should update
