Align dimensions colinear when they don't snap automatically

      Hello there fellow SolidWorkers,

      I have a question:

Is there any way you can align the dimensions collinear, when they don't snap automatically?

The horizontal and vertical dimensions do snap normally to each other, BUT when you have them aligned with an edge or under a certain angle, they do not snap - and I want them perfectly aligned.

Please see attachment to see what I mean.

(also, when I try to align the dimensions to an edge they disappear and reappear only when I click all over the place and have a good luck to click on a certain point in the drawing? - but it's probably for another discussion)

      Thanks,

      Best Regards,

      David

Ok, I think I solved both problems now:

          - align dimensions when they don't snap: select all dimensions you want to be collinear with ctrl+clicking on them - then wait for a small dimension rectangle to popup right from your mouse cursor - hover your mouse on it - then a bigger dimensions popup will come up - there you can choose from variety of align and auto dimension options.

          - when align dimension to edge, the dimension disappears: just click rebuild button (ctrl+B) and it shows up.

          Thanks anyway.

          Best Regards,

          David
