contact/gap input required in thermal analysis

      Hi,
I am new to thermal analysis. I have a cylindrical part say 3" long. At one end of this part there is an concentric tube say 1". There is air between the two parts. How do I define a study to find out the temperature of inner part when the outside tube is say at 300F. Basically if outside tube is at 300F, what region of inner part gets hot first and how much? I studied all tutorials and went thru all forum topics. I didn't find anything similar. Any help would help.

      Thank you,
