I am having some issues with Solidworks 2015. I have numerous part files that have configurations based off of design tables. The issue that I am getting is that it will not save my configurations in the rebuild stage. I can get the green checkmark beside each configuration of the part but as soon as I hit the save button all inactive configurations revert back to the dash saying that a rebuild is required. Is there a setting that I am missing?
Two things to consider:
1. Make sure this option is not checked:
2. Once item 1 is addressed, make sure you set the Rebuild/Save Mark on All or just some of the configurations.
What exactly does the Rebuild/Save Mark accomplish? I believe I read somewherer that it increase the sizes of the files, is thgat correct?
I noticed after I unchecked the purge cache configuration data and save my rebuilt configurations that it stayed a check mark when I saved.

Of course the file size increases. The tessellation of each marked configuration model is saved in the file.
