So I had an assembly open and suddenly a bunch of mates decided they wanted error. Looking into it it seems one part that was used multiple times decided to have a face disappear. Anyone seen anything like this before?
When I opened the part separately the face was missing but I did a CTRL+Q and it sorted itself out actually. Face just popped back in.
Oddly though this was just one configuration of this part and none of the others used in that assembly had a missing face.
In any case it's fixed now. Strange behaviour.
Is the face missing when the part is opened separately?
Have you check to see if you are using the correct graphics card driver for your version of Solidworks.
Run the Solidworks RX and go to the Diagnostic tab. (All Programs > Solidworks 201? > Solidworks Tools > Solidworks RX
I can only guess.. if you added features in that part, role back to where you last recall and see where the face disappears as you roll forward?
