What is causing the jagged saw tooth lines on the vertical columns, SW settings or video card ?
Change image quality to reduce these under Tools > Options > Document Property > Image Quality (move slider to right)
I slid the bar up to the red with no positive effects, I then sled it into the red which temporarily froze SW and had no positive effects.
I think the issue is anti-aliasing, you want it turned on. Go to System Options > Display/Selection > Anti-aliasing and set it to edges/sketches or full scene.
All antialiasing settings are grayed out [not selectable]
Running Win7 64bit
Go here and enter your system information and see if you are using the recommended graphics card driver.

If you already are, then maybe your graphics card doesn't support anti-aliasing.
Actually, I don't know about AMD but the nVidia control panel has options where I guess you can override the anti-aliasing settings. If AMD has something similar try to set everything to application-controlled.
You need to launch SolidWorks, but not have any files open to change the anti-alias settings in SolidWorks.
That allowed me to change the setting but no positive change
I'll check the V-card driver. I have always had some conflict with the audio chipset causing fideo issues. I can't listen to music and use solidworks, system gets funky.
