There is a current SPR 832474 relating to the issue being seen and it has been suggested to turn off the Preview pane or Details pane in Windows Explorer to prevent the warning. The SPR has a status of Under review (implemented) so hopefully will be resolved in a later Service Pack.

Issue is happening here too on a Windows 8 machine. We're running SP3. It's not listed in the SP4 fixed SPRs.
Now we wait, I guess.
I've got the same problem. Turning off the preview pane made this go away, but doesn't really classify as a fix. Now I just can't preview anything. At least I don't have to sort through a pile of error reports every time I click on a solidworks file though...

I just try to update to the SP4 after encounter the same issue.
I got a message in the installer telling me to follow the instruction bellow :

For the short time, I trying the update according to this instructions, it looks good.
I had the same problem with SW 2015 on Win7 64bit and none of the above mentioned advices worked for me. Then I read this thread SW2009 64bit englisch -> auf deutsch umstellen (DS SolidWorks/SolidWorks) - Foren auf CAD.de
and now no warning message pop up. I have simply change the format language in Regional and language options back to English.
Make a junction link to 'SOLIDWORKS\SOLIDWORKS\lang\english' to 'SOLIDWORKS\SOLIDWORKS\lang\your lang' solves the problem.
You can use the junction link utility from the link belove;
right click on english directory + drug & drop in same lang folder and change the name to your own lang.
And now you don't have to disable preview.
