Two different area values for the same surface when using section properties tool & measure tool

Hi,

When measure the surface area for the same surface, using section Properties tool and measure tool in Solidworks 2014 x64 Edition SP 1.0, I got two different area values.

Does anyone know about this and any solution for this.

Are those solidworks measuring tools using two different software codes (functions).

Hi.

 

Check accuracy level in measure tool. Set it to higher value to get more accurate result.
