Hello, I have a parametric model that was working just fine until last week. Now the same model does not rebuild when I change any parameter in the equations dialog. I have un-linked the text file that I was using and just change parameters directly but the model refuses to change.
Hello Mark, thank you for that tip. It does say it is rebuilding the part when I hit Ctrl Q, but it doesn't change the outcome. The part remains unchanged. Is there a way to see if a part is corrupt? I have never seen this before. I have two other similar models that are structured just like this one and they have no problems (and this one didn't either until a few days ago). The model is a wood screw that can adapt to variations in design according to different standards and sizes
Can you restore the original working file, through previous versions. Do you have any external links?
thanks, i ended up taking an older version and updating it. it seems to work. The broken file does update when I edit an equation, for example x2 to double the output. Strangely it does not pick up changes in the values of the global variables that are inputs to the equations Also rule based feature suppress/unsuppress is not working in that file, whereas it works just fine in the prior versions.
