Re: Change sheet metal feature k-factor
Tapani Sjoman Jul 1, 2015 10:28 AM (in response to Arif Akbas)I coul'd make it work .
My idea was to chande default type and value and after that traverse every sheet metal feature to use default values. Still stuck with the first step (change default values). Anybody have a code for this?

Re: Change sheet metal feature k-factor
Viktor Bovzdarenko Jan 17, 2016 11:14 PM (in response to Arif Akbas)Hi Arif,
Try to use a free BETA version of batch tool "#TASK". It has a library where macro for modifying K-factor can be found.
Just drag the folder with all your parts, specify new K-factor and it will be changed.
Please note that K-factor is changed on top level. If individual bend has a different (overriden) K-factor then it will not be changed but you will be warned
If you have a lot of files and SolidWorks hangs somewhere in the process then tool will reload SolidWorks and continue creating drawings
Please follow the link to download this batch tool: https://cloud.centralinnovation.com.au/WebSharpSwTask/Home/Index?lang=en
Please let me know if you want to have a bit different behavior of the macro so that I can modify it for you
It is a Beta version of the application. Central Innovation takes no responsibility of any loss or damage incurred through the use of #TASK. So please, back up your data if you haven’t done so already before running #TASK.

Re: Change sheet metal feature k-factor
Viktor Bovzdarenko Jan 13, 2016 6:27 PM (in response to Arif Akbas)Could you please restart #TASK after installation (you will be able to see all library )
Try to launch solidworks manually before launching #Task; please check if you have administrative permissions on your PC and internet connection. Also check if the application is not blocked by firewall as Deepak Gupta suggested.
Could you please also specify which version of SolidWorks is installed on your PC?

Re: Change sheet metal feature k-factor
Deepak Gupta Jan 13, 2016 7:12 AM (in response to Arif Akbas)Have you restarted your system after installation OR close #TASK and restart it to make sure it connects properly with the library.

Re: Change sheet metal feature k-factor
Artem Taturevych Jan 17, 2016 6:11 AM (in response to Arif Akbas)Hi Arif,
I'm sorry for the issues you have with the #TASK. The fact that you had to select the path to SolidWorks manually means that you might not have a proper permissions to read some registry keys or you are using x32 bit version of SolidWorks in x64 environment, can this be the case? When #TASK cannot access the registry to find the installed versions of SolidWorks it is asking to select the full path to SolidWorks, not a shortcut. So something like C:\Program Files\SolidWorks 2015\SLDWORKS.exe (please read this document for some more information: http://cloud.ic3d.com.au/sharp_task/docs/Troubleshooting.en.pdf).
Thanks,
Artem
