The sheet metal flat pattern is not exporting to dxf file and showing preview as it has in the past. Any ideas or recommendations as to what would cause this?

Using either 2014 or 2015 , I have tried both. I am unable to attach anything. The parts are converting on other Solid works systems in my office, I am wondering if I am missing a setting somewhere. My system was recently added.

Will the part flatten on your system? I have seen cases where an error in the part will not allow SolidWorks to go the dxf exporting regimen......
I am able to flatten but it still has the same issue on parts with or without bends.
It may be something in your settings. Have you tried copying the settings on a machine that works properly and restoring the settings onto your new computer?
We tried that also. We thought the same thing, we may just have to reinstall, was hoping for an easy fix.
The part to DXF works fine for me so something on your machine. Also edit the post and remove the log file as it contains your SOLIDWORKS serial number which should not be posted in public.

I don't know where your troubles are arising from, but since you are, I checked all of the options (forming tools, hidden...etc) when I made the DXF.
I had no troubles and I've attached the DXF.
I didn't have any issues in creating it, but I haven't taken any measurements for accuracy if that's a concern.

Have you tried creating a 2d drawing, insert then flat pattern view and then saveas dxf as a workaround the problem?
Which SOLIDWORKS version and SP. Can you add sample files?
