Hi All,
I'm trying to create a part which is a housing for a cylindrical lever. Attached is a model which shows approximately what I'm trying to achieve.
At first it seemed very straightforward, but given the rotational axis is offset (for the pivot pin) everything ends up self intersecting.
Any gurus here have a solution?
thanks
This doesn't really answer your question because you specifically asked about cuts that overlap. But I couldn't help but notice in your second file set that you allowed a cutout in the center where the lever would swing, and in that case if you place the cutout first then you can draw the cutting tool so that it won't overlap in the motion. But I know that wasn't your actual part it was just an example.
