I have a pdm 2014 installed on a Windows server 2008 R2 and everything works perfectly! I can save archive, rename, delete perfectly!
Just one thing does not work anymore: The "window preview" in PDM explorer!
When I right click on an object and I click on "window preview", the window is empty, gray ..
I already had the problem, I had made a complete reconstruction of the safe and the problem was resolved, but then it does not work ..
Do you have any idea?

I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall edrawing but I still have the same problem.
The problem came alone, it did just stop working out of the blue!
In Solidwork explorer, previewing works great for displaying an object that is on my local drive but also for an object that is on the PDM!
It's really in Solidwoks same, in Workgroup PDM complement the preview does not work and only for items stored on the PDM. This is crazy!

Was there some event that triggered the preview problem, like a reinstall or something? Or did it just stop working out of the blue? Try checking in a new part and see if the preview works for that. I think the preview is generated at check-in so maybe somehow all of the previews got deleted and they will be re-generated when the parts are checked in again.
As an alternative to preview you can look at the Document Information and go to the View tab to view the part in edrawings.
