You can right click on the row and select hide/delete. There is no other to remove that OR get rid of automatically.
We regularly have to change the sheet in our BOM too. What we've done is in the part Feature tree -> cut list -> Cut-List-Item** (or "Sheet" if you don't have the "Rename Cut List Folder with Description" unchecked) Right click on that -> Properties.
In the Property Box scroll to "Description" in "Property Name" either clear the "Text Expression Box" box to have an empty section or change the "Property Name" to something else, adding anything to it will make it so that the Solidworks BOM won't report the renamed description.
Hello,
If "Sheet" is a part in an assembly, then you can exclude it from the BOM via component properties.
Check the box in the lower right on the properties dialog.
Cheers,
Kevin
Hello,
In your assembly document, right-click "Sheet" and click "Component Properties".
It's the upper right icon at the top of the icons/menus displayed.
This opens the Component Properties dialog and on the bottom right corner, check "Exclude from bill of materials" (see attached) and click OK.
Save your assembly and open the drawing. "Sheet" should be gone from the BOM with the item numbers adjusted below where it was.
You may have to do a rebuild (Ctrl+B or Ctrl+Q) in the drawing.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Kevin
