I'm new to SolidWorks and having trouble saving parts as .stl.
I know exactly how to do it, "Save As" -> ".stl". I get the error message, "No available entities to process through STL."
How can I fix this?

Did you create the geometry - or did you get it from some other source?
Do you have a solid body?
Can you at least attach screen shot including feature browser?
Here is the part I was working on. I extruded a simple box and tried to convert that to a .stl to check if it was a geometry problem, the box couldn't be converted either.
I was able to save your file as and stl file. Tom
I was also able to save your file as an .STL file.
-> Menu
-> Save as...
-> Select .STL from the dropdown menu
-> Rename your part if you so please
-> You get a message box with the calculated triangles an the approximated size
-> Select OK and SolidWorks will save your file as *.STL
It might not be possible to do it directly from SOLIDWORKS student version.
You can try open up your part directly in edrawings. Just open up edrawings and open your .sldprt file with it. Try to save it as .stl from there.

Yes, I am using the student version. I tried saving as a .stl from eDrawings, and it worked.
Just to clarify - I save to stl from student version quite frequently.
