So where I work we do a lot of fabric sewn parts in addition to our metal, plastic, etc parts. Our fabric parts are mostly represented as 2d sketches as part files, which works very well for our purposes, showing seams and folds and pattern sizes is easy and it works very well.

However, when making drawings of sketches, solidworks doesn't seem to want to allow me to place hatch marks using sketch elements within certain areas or around anything, it will only let me add hatch/fill to drawings of solid bodies. Is there a setting or something I'm missing or has solidworks just put an end to that kind of functionality?
