We're getting that quite a bit as well. The strange thing is the error we got on some of the parts when this happens is that the file it's trying to open says it's a future version & we're using the latest SP of 2015. Only thing I know of later than that would be beta 2016 & that hasn't been released yet.
The earlier SPs of 2015 had issues which were corrupting file and could be the reason of the future version error. If you know the specific files, then send them to your VAR if they can get them fixed.
One reason could be opening higher version file in lower version. For e.g. opening 2015 in 2015.
