I am trying to simulate airflow of a fan in a enclosure. The fan that I am trying to model is a HVLS fan and it is 12 feet in diameter. I asked the company that produces it and they said they don't have fan curves for HVLS fans. Is there any other way to model the fan without a fan curve?
Please check the total flow of HVLS with producer and model it as a thin cylinder -> exclude this geometry from simulation -> use the geometry for defining internal fan. In engineering database define HVLS as fan with stable flow independently from pressure drop.
I hope it helps.
