I have a problem in Sheet metal modeling regarding corner reliefs as in attached image. I want to merge the corners or make it as zero clearance. Please take a look in this.
Thanks & Regards,
Naveen Kumar Gongu.
How would that corner be made in the real world?
Hemispherical deformation of material in a die?
Fill it with a corner weld bead.
With the Closed Corner Feature and an extrude you can get this......
Thanks for reply. I know Closed Corner Feature, But it is not working for which I marked in that image.
It is working like it's supposed to, you just need to modify your model just a little bit. The Sheet metal relief should be tear and then after you make the closed corner, then add a boss extrude on the one side like I show above.
Thanks for your feedback.
I want to attach the sheet metal part, but I don't know how to insert here .

I am attaching the sheet metal part to main post, Can you please make corners merge and I want Flat pattern also for it.
I see your file is an older version so I can't upload for you to see, except the following pictures.........
The above is achieved by your initial sheet metal properties ......
Set to Tear
Close corner Properties...
Thanks for your patience.
I have tried Tear option, but still its having same problem.
