The only way to have the file listed in the dialog is to have the file open, which you can do with ISldWorks::OpenDoc6. To dispay that dialog and possibly pin it, you'd have to find the correct enumerator in ISldWorks::RunCommand. I have a blog post on how to use this API call here.

this looks like a partial solution for my issue. Yes I can start the dialog with command id "13" and the open files are listed in the dialog. But the list contains all files and I have to place a specific one. So how to reorder the files or bring my file direct to the drag-drop cursor ? I already try to make a reopen of the document but this won´t help ..
any idea ..
