I am trying to create a reference plane, normal to a line. This line has been created in a sketch on the Right Plane. When I click Plane, and try to select the line to reference, it just will not select it when I click, it's only selecting existing geometry such a surfaces, edges, and corners.

What is going on here?

I tried opening a new part file, drawing a simple line, and successfully created a new plane relative to that line at the line's endpoint, so I know I'm doing it right, at least once...

Any help is appreciated.
