Hey Everyone! I hope that I am asking this question in the right place. Why is that when you make a STEP file or IGS file that you lose all of the configurations in that assembly?
It´s just how it is.
You can e.g. make an assembly file with subassemblies files representing your configurations and the person that reach it will have to suppress/unsuppress to see your (configurations).
Ok, thanks for the reply!
One more question. Is it possible to have colours transfer from the assembly to the STEP file? I have large assembly with different parts that are different colours, and when I make a STEP file, I lose those colours. Just wondering if it would be possible.
Choose STEP AP214 and you should get the color.
Exactly. Not with the Step AP 203
Great!, thank you both!
