In the attached 2014SW part I would like to copy the sketch for the two previous Extrude Cuts to the inserted Plane1.

MoveOrCopy Method (IModelDocExtension) Moves and optionally copies the selected sketchentities or annotations. Please refer following link for better understanding:
Refer Example section.
It's pretty straight-forward. For each sketch you select it, do a CTRL+C, select Plane1 and do CTRL+V.
You can also use the Derived Sketch feature - Insert/Derived Sketch - Select the plane and a Sketch - that way when you change the first sketch the derived sketch will follow

PS. The Help for Derived Sketch doesn't include statement that user must not be in Edit Sketch mode when inserting the sketch, otherwise Derived Sketch option is not available. And I couldn't locate a feedback link. Anyway, only a minor point. .
