We always model nominal values and then add our tolerances after. If we have a non-symmetrical tolerance, say +.003, +.006 thou but want to give our CNC machinists the Step file to work from this causes an issue as the step file is nominal.
Does anyone have a solution for this, or do we need to always model mid tolerance to ensure our step files are mid tolerance? We would much rather model 1.000 rather than 1.0045.
Would love some feedback?
