as the picture shows the point is on the top plane and SW is not letting me select an angle between the new plane and the top plane instead of having a perpendicular relation. anyone knows how i can fix this? many thanks.
I like to use a simple sketch to place angled planes. The sketch defines the angle.
Pardon me if I am not properly understanding your question, but it is not possible to define a plane coincident to a plane and and a point/angle. This is possible with a line in place of the point.
Best of Luck!
Thank you for the answer. What I intended to do was having the plane coincident with a point and at some angles to two existing planes but unfortunately you can't do that.
To specify Angle between planes,
Selecting a Point & Plane is not possible.
Selecting a Axis and Plane is possible.

If You need to get an angled planed as First reference as Point with Coincident relation & Second reference as New Plane , it doesn'T work. since if you want an angle plane as a result your reference Should either be an Edge,Line , Axis or planar face not a Point . Hope this was Helpful.
