I'm trying to rotate a Hanger around. I though by placing holes in the hanger and the plate I could rotate it but NO. So, I thought maybe an axis..but I can't rotate the component around it either.
You have to do a pack and go for your assembly so we can open it up
try this one
You're still just posting the assembly file. We can't open it without the part files. Please see #15 here: Forum Posting

If you look at your design tree, what is before the name of the plate ? is it ( - ) or ( f ) or nothing.
If it´s nothing than you have to setup your mates so the plate can rotate, suppress, delete and add mates. You can e.g. add concentric mate to the to the plate, so it can rotate around the part it´s mated to. If the plate can rotate then it will rotate if you mate the hanger to the plate and try to rotate the plate with the hanger.
Needs tho have the ( - ) so it can move/rotate.
If it has ( f ) than you need to rmc on the plate and select float.
Hope this helps.
they all have the - sign
What you are asking for can be done in various ways. If I understand you correctly.

I think there is a problem with my hanger...notice how yours has a line running inside the curved part of the hanger? Mine does not have this line.
Are you referring to the sketches.??
You can show/hide sketches as you want. Just right mouse click on a sketch and select show/hide.
