    Align general tolerance text?

    Christopher Sudlik

So whenever I add tolerances to dimensions in a drawing, they show up like they are in the attached picture, where the nominal dimension is in line with the lower limit. I want the nominal dimension to be center aligned vertically so that it shows up halfway, but I can't figure out how, the center align box in the tolerance menu only affects added text, not the dimension/tolerance itself.

Did you add the tolerance by choosing Bilateral and entering the +/- values, or did you manually enter the tolerance text? When I use Bilateral tolerance it is centered with the dimension value and I can't find a way to make mine look like yours.

Edit: I spoke too soon. It looks like that format is linked to the ISO drafting standard. If you switch to ANSI it will be centered, but then a bunch of other formatting will be different too. I don't know if there is a way to keep ISO except center the tolerances. Sorry.
