I would like to edit the linetype of the strikethrough of a deleted BOM item. Does anyone know what layer the strikethough line is on, or how to edit just the line?
I think it´s depending on the font.
Thanks that's helpful, but now the "Keep row for missing component" isn't working.
I've selected the box, then I delete two assemblies, and the row in the BOM disappears. I've tried editing the Document Properties in both the drawing and in the assembly. I'm not sure why this isn't working.
Did you do it in the BOM ?
No, but I just did and it hasn't helped.
Also, I don't have the same options in the dialog box.
I've tried suppressing the sub-assemblies and deleting them and the result is the same. The row is deleted.
Has to be ticked in the BOM before you make the delete, if I remember correctly. I´m on SW 2015, looks like you are on SW 2013. It should work anyway.
I did edit the BOM properties before I tested it. Yes, SW 2013 currently, but we're upgrading to SW 2015 in the next two weeks.
Anyway, what's bothering me is that this was working at the beginning of the month when I asked my initial question. I'll try this again tomorrow and see if I can find some other difference between the previous drawing and the one I'm working on now.
I'm running 2015 SP3.0 and it doesn't work no matter what I try. I just ended up inserting a row where the item was, and change the item number to what it was. Just make sure the 'DO NOT CHANGE ITEM NUMBERS' is checked, otherwise I've had it re-sequence all the items following and that was not fun.
