So this is basically what id like to do.
It has not been maintained well by the previous admin, and my goal is to remove only from groups the users that are no longer employed with us. This is probably a yes or no question. Is this the proper way to remove them, and to do this with one user at a time?
Go to the User propertied > Groups > Remove Groups. Should that be adequate?
Is the Folder check box referring to the epdm folder that the permissions for that group are assigned?
A fast way to edit multiple groups at once is:
Then in the next window, Ctrl select the groups you want to edit and choose "Properties". Here you can go to Group Members -any members you remove here will be removed from all groups you selected in the previous step.
One tip, your changes are not committed to the database until you hit the save button.
Yup...and also that folder's sub folders.
