In a complex assembly, I want all subassemblies 'closed' in the tree except the one I'm working on.  Every time I make a change to a mate in one subassembly, several others are automatically 'opened' in the tree, making it very difficult to find what I'm working on because I now have to scroll up and down closing all the stuff I'm not interested in.  Then I make another change and SW opens a whole bunch of stuff again, causing the same problem over and over.

Is there are way to tell SW not to expand any part of the component tree unless I explicitly open it myself?  I've looked and asked around, but no luck so far.
