i want to make a cylinder with honeycomb pattern. i have all right, but i want to cut bottom part where zero thickness located- 13mm on both sides, the middle is where zero thickness located.
Just alter the sketch/dimensions in
"Sketch2" in "Cut-Extrude 1"
they way you want it.
To edit the sketch rmc and select edit sketch.
it's 2013 version btw
I don't quite understand what you are trying to do. Are you trying to cut 13mm of both ends? Or do you want the cylinder to join up seamlessly after the flex feature?
A picture of where you're trying to cut would probably help, or the cut extrude feature showing the sketch and error with the feature.
i sended some pics, see my response to kenneth schulze
I changed the thickness for the Extrude-Thin1 from 3mm to 1.51mm and got the Flex1 to rebuild without errors.
I hope this is what you needed.
the size is all allright, but i cant cut right that wheri i want! i send some pics, so you can get it right! zero thickness fix? PLS HELP!
What about just cut it before you use the Flex Feature.
but radius and other sizes are the same? can you cut it and send me the file? im newbee and don't know really much :/
Here it is.
Sorry, but can you please make it 13mm on both sides, just as i send pics.. Thank you.
THANK YOU!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!
The Flex feature can't handle the ends of the part overlapping.
