Good morning All,

I have a question regarding the possibility of saving one or more bodies within a part file that is totally independent of the original .sldprt that it came from.  I've read about how you can use "save body" and create individual part files but those are all still referenced back to the original which I do not want.  I have several bodies in a part that only have basic perimeter shapes to them.  I'd like to take these "bodies" and save each one to a new file that is not linked back to the original, then add more detail to each (do not want the newly added details being transferred back to the original part).  I was trying "save bodies" and attempting to delete the references and also tried a few other things but ended up messing the references back to the original (since the new files are still linked to it).  There must be something I'm missing.  Thanks for any input!
