Mutiple language note in one drawing

    Troy Peterson

      Does anyone know if there is a standard for adding multiple language notes to a drawing. Should they be two seperate groups of notes duplicating the numbers or should they be a sub group sharing the same number or something else, see examples;

      NOTES: (UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED)

         1. INTERPRET DRAWING PER ASME Y14.5M-1994.

         2. ALL DIMENSIONS ARE IN INCHES.

      NOTAS: (SALVO ESPECIFICACION DIFERENTE)

         1. INTERPRETE EL DIBUJO CON ASME Y14.5M-1994.

         2. TODAS LAS DIMENSIONES ESTAN EN PULGADAS.

      OR

      NOTES: (UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED)

      (NOTAS: (SALVO ESPECIFICACION DIFERENTE))

         1. INTERPRET DRAWING PER ASME Y14.5M-1994.

(INTERPRETE EL DIBUJO CON ASME Y14.5M-1994.)

         2. ALL DIMENSIONS ARE IN INCHES.

(TODAS LAS DIMENSIONES ESTAN EN PULGADAS.)

I'm not sure about the standard but I would prefer this one:

          NOTES: (UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED)

          (NOTAS: (SALVO ESPECIFICACION DIFERENTE))

             1. INTERPRET DRAWING PER ASME Y14.5M-1994.

(INTERPRETE EL DIBUJO CON ASME Y14.5M-1994.)

             2. ALL DIMENSIONS ARE IN INCHES.

(TODAS LAS DIMENSIONES ESTAN EN PULGADAS.)
