Anyone else running Windows 7 with SW 2013 or 2012 SP4 with this issue? Causing work stoppage.
I receive systematically this error when I stop and rerun SW. The only way is to restart the computer. There is some conflict with other applications, but I cannot discover which one.
An easier potential workaround for this likely conflict with third party software (which might not work for all cases, but has helped some customers) is to add the appropriate path to 'cosworks.dll' to your 'Path' Environment Variable. Please see S-018842 in the SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base (KB) for detailed instructions and check with your IT department before you make changes just to be safe.
To fully investigate this, you can contact your SOLIDWORKS Value Added Reseller (VAR) and mention KB solution S-018842. To get the most efficient help possible, gather the information mentioned in S-018842 before you reach out.
I haven't seen it, but I would try a repair of the installation.
